HLLC RESIDENCE
A gut renovation + extension of a 4,000 SF corner townhouse located in the historic district of Bedford-Stuyvesant in Brooklyn. The renovation is planned to be completed in 2 phases:
First phase including 3 floors of residential space and 1 penthouse with a dedicated terrace above the existing garage building. The existing garage space would partially be transformed into a bar and a takeout restaurant.
Phase two includes the complete gut renovation of the existing Deli space into a new restaurant and a facade design that exposes the cast iron columns that were previously covered. Additionally, an irrigation system is designed to feed into landscape elements that are designated to embody the old and the new as a whole.
